Dr K first did my right hip replacement in summer 2024 and it was about as close to perfect as I can imagine. Once the right hip was fixed my left one started to hurt really bad. I figured it was because I had compensated on it while the right one was still bad. The left one I had done in 2013 in Nevada so when it started to hurt really bad, I went in to see Dr Kaminski and he did an x-ray and then a nuclear bone scan and found that my bone had never grown into the prosthetic hip on the left side after 13 years it was a mess! But Dr Kaminski went in there and I actually recovered faster from the revision surgery than the regular hip replacement he is so good and so thorough. I highly highly recommend him and I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me.

Dr Kaminski is a five ⭐️ and then some! Informative, to the point, and spot on 🎯
Dr. Ken Kaminski, M.D., specialises in primary and complex hip and knee replacements, revision joint surgery, joint replacements, and hip and knee arthritis. He’s Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Kaminski attended Rutgers University, where he graduated with highest honors and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Finance. He continued to receive his Medical Doctorate at Rutgers University / University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then spent five years training in a General Orthopaedic Surgery residency at JPS Hospital in Fort Worth, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Kaminski furthered his expertise by earning a Fellowship in Total Joint Replacements and Revision Joint Surgery at the Mayo Clinic.
“Diagnosed hip and knee arthritis affects 1 in 5 individuals at some point in their lifetime and can be a significant factor in preventing someone from enjoying their life to the fullest,” Kaminski explains. “Living with hip or knee pain is not something you should have to do. My practice focuses on returning patients with arthritis or malfunctioning hip and knee replacements to their previously active lifestyle.”
Using the power of robotic technology, Dr. Kaminski now has the ability to pre-plan his knee and hip surgeries using a CT scan to generate a 3D virtual model. This new advancement allows for greater precision and less muscle trauma during surgery, typically resulting in shorter recovery times.
From 2015 to 2017, Texas Monthly Magazine recognized Dr. Kaminski as a Rising Star. After being selected for three consecutive years, Dr. Kaminski became eligible for the Texas Monthly Super Doctors award. From 2018 to 2025, Dr. Kaminski has been recognized as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor. He was also recognized as one of America’s Leading Doctors by Newsweek in 2025.
In addition to running a successful private practice, Dr. Kaminski is a board member for Azalea Orthopedics, Baylor Scott & White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital, and OrthoLoneStar. From 2020-2021, Dr. Kaminski served as the president of the Texas Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Kaminski is assisted by Justin Williams, FNP-C, and Paul Chlapek, PA-C.
