If dilation exam is so important, then the machine that does it needs to be maintained and kept functional. I didn't have this part of the exam because I couldn't give up a day being dialted.

Thank you for being an attentive listener and good explainer. I've seen a few optometrists over the past year or so. It is a huge relief to be able to see correctly again!

Dr. Kelsey deCampos-Stairiker, O.D., graduated from Pacific University as a Doctor of Optometry. As an optometrist, she values caring for the ocular health and vision of her patients with a holistic approach that integrates the importance of systemic health and its effect on the eyes. Dr. deCampos worked as a scientist in the biotechnology industry for several years before pursuing optometry. She now uses that scientific background to assess exam findings and keep up to date with the latest research in ocular health.
Dr. deCampos’s undergraduate education was at Willamette University, where she majored in Biology and Spanish. She later expanded her optometric vocabulary in Spanish while interfacing with patients during her clinical externships. She welcomes patients of all languages and backgrounds, and strives to provide the same friendly, high-quality care to each and every patient.
An Oregon native, Dr. deCampos enjoys exploring the outdoors by hiking on foot or with her horse on a trail ride. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and trying new foods.
