Suggested all the meds I was already on because my provided med list was not viewed. Didn’t really care to want to be bothered with me and didn’t even say bye when she tossed the referral at the checkout receptionist.
I will be requesting another MD in the practice that maybe has a little more heart and wants to get to the root of the issue

Dr. Kelly Shaffer M.D., recently voted Best Urologist by Mount Pleasant Magazine (our own Dr. David Brandli was Second) and has also been awarded the InterStim™ Center of Excellence. She moved back to the Lowcountry from Charlotte, where she has been in private practice. Having grown up in a military family, Dr. Shaffer has lived in various regions of the world.
Dr. Shaffer received her undergraduate degree at James Madison University. She matriculated medical school with highest honors and as an AOA member at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Shaffer completed her residency in Urology with advanced training in female urology and reconstructive surgery at MUSC. She returns to the lowcountry after practicing in Charlotte for the last four years. She has extensive training in prosthetic surgery for treatment of male urinary incontinence and male erectile dysfunction as well as female voiding dysfunction. Dr. Shaffer is also well trained in providing fecal incontinence treatment, but also enjoys all aspects of general urologic patient care.
Dr. Shaffer and her husband enjoy golfing, the beach and being bossed around by their two french bulldogs. They are excited to be moving back to Charleston and rejoining their family here.
