Dr. Anderson is originally from a small town outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, and loved growing up in the Carolinas and in a small town. She met her husband, Michael, while in college and they now have two sons, Luke and Eli. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and cooking and she loves being in the outdoors doing many various activities such as kayaking and climbing.
