Dr. Williams came highly recommended by my PCP., and as usual my PCP did not disappoint! I was extremely apprehensive with what Dr. Williams was going to conclude after reading my MRI. While I sat in the treatment room, many scenarios went through my mind-they were stressful thoughts. Well, Dr. Williams' Assistant Orthro Physician came in and got my story of how I got to this medical situation. He was kind and so very patient. I gave him the LONG version of what happened and he left to give the story to the BIG GUY. Soon, after Dr. Williams came in and COMPLETELY explained what he saw on the MRI. That apprenensiveness that I spoke if earlier, totally left and my stress level dissipated. You see, I have decades of experience working in a medical higher education organization and while there I was always observant of the differences in the demeanor of those who fine tuned the many specialties of medic8ne. Dr. Williams is a great doctor as he questions his patients as to their current situation, pain level. He then lays out options as to what needs to be done to move forward. Finally, he does not “hurry” to move on to his next patient!

Great doctor. He’s not like other surgeons who just want to cut. He spent time with me and explained everything. He found that surgery was not the best option for me.

I was livid at the wait time. I was a few minutes from walking out of the room. A new young doctor came in to my surprise and made grusome mistake of taking a pin in her hand touching my pain area and my jeans. I told her not to do that and if she could not touch the area with her fingers; not to touch me with a pin. I was so humiliated and wanted cry and I was already stressed out over the 3 hr wait time; plus I wanted to get to Ross to retrieve my I phone I had left the previous night or having to go to AT&T office to do search location for my missing phone. Dr Williams is my choice Dr for possible surgery and he almost held my hands giving me emotional support and reinforcement on my chronic back pain etc. I laughed thinking that Dr Williams has more serious patients than having to deal with my emotional mind set due to manageable back pain😂. (Awe, thats is my long wait time for the first.). I appreciate Dr Williams being very candid with me about possibly surgery.
