Dr. Weiner attended Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, completing a bachelor’s degree in child psychology. He then stayed at his alma mater for medical school, graduating with honors. Following medical school, Dr. Weiner completed both his internship and residency training in pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine, before moving on to Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, for a fellowship in cardiology.
In addition to his clinical work with Children’s Cardiology Group, Dr. Weiner is a consultant at the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, California. In addition, he is on the Quality Review Committee at Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center in Fountain Valley, California, and is an American Heart Association lipid investigator.
For his work and dedication to his community, Dr. Weiner has been recognized as one of the top pediatric cardiologists in Orange County by the Orange County Medical Association for the past nine years.
