In addition to the broad scope of pediatric orthopaedics, his main passions are in caring for children with various spine-related conditions and in treating fractures in children. Dr. Keith Orland attended medical school at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed his orthopaedic residency at Emory University School of Medicine. He further pursued his interests in pediatric orthopaedics by completing a pediatric orthopaedic surgery fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Very kind and compassionate concern for his patient. This was my first visit with his for granddaughter and was if he had been treating her all along and she was a transfer from Texas!! The staff was awesome as well.
Dr Orland was very informative and took time to explain everything going on. He has so much compassion and would highly recommend him!
Once my daughter had her X-rays taken we were put in a room. 5-10 minutes later Dr. Orland was in the room. Great energy and persona. Very knowledgeable and thorough about the present and future outcomes for my daughter’s recovery. Plus, I was able to make it to work. It was a lot of people waiting to be seen. I am glad we did not have too long of a wait time before being called back.
Dr. Orland takes the time to explain things and make sure his patients understand. He's personable, not cold and indifferent. You feel like part of a management team, not just a patient.

Dr. Orland and his staff took excellent care of my daughter before, during, and after her procedure. He explained the procedure in detail to my 13 yo daughter, as well as my husband and I. His calm and patient beside manner, as well as his detailed explanation of her condition certainly made us more comfortable on surgery day. I highly recommend Dr. Orland!
