For anyone who need carpametacarpal arthroplasty surgery, he’s the best. This is my second surgery but under Dr. Segalman he did my right thumb. My left thumb was done with a screw In replaced of a bad bone by a different surgeon and the recovery was longer, difficult and I was in agony for 9 months. Dr Segalman used stitches instead of screw and he placed my thumb in a soft cast for about two weeks then switched me to hard cast for another month. After the hard cast comes off, I then began to wear my customized thumb splint but only for two weeks. And I only underwent a week worth of therapy with a therapist. I only wished I had Dr Segalman for my first thumb surgery instead of the other doctor.

Dr. Segalman is an intelligent, capable doctor and an empathetic person. I feel very fortunate to count myself among his patients.

He is very knowledgeable and makes me feel confident that my hand will be healed.

Dr Segalman operated on my thumb a few years ago and it resolved my pain 100%. I recently developed another different need for surgery, and I didn't hesitate to call his office. He is kind, thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Segalman performed surgery on my left hand in 2020. 4 years later still no pain, good range of motion and when I recently had a problem with my right hand he was I only person I know I could trust. Even his team Theresa, Sharon, and Betty were amazing. Not mention the front desk staff. All around 10 out of 10!

Hel is the best

Dr. Segalman is very patient as I have had a million questions. He answered them all and and was kind and understanding. . He fixed my problem with my wrist which was not an easy task. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for the "best".

I have been seeing Dr. Segalman for about 20 years for shoulder and hand issues. He is unfailingly thorough, always walks you through his findings, and where possible, gives you treatment options. He has operated on one shoulder, and despite a challenging repair and recovery, I had an excellent outcome and have had no issues with that shoulder whatsoever in the intervening 20 years. I very highly recommend Dr. Segalman. He is an exceptional clinician and a genuinely warm person. Separately, the staff are all outstanding, and the office is run very well, and has been consistently since I first became a patient back in 2000.

Doesn’t explain well. Seems bothered by questions for further explanations or illustrations. While I don’t doubt he’s a good surgeon, I need more than that to allow him to operate. A semblance of empathy would be welcomed. Sitting across from him on three visits I felt simply like I was taking his time. And that’s not acceptable.
