Did not understand I would be awake for colonoscopy? Very frightening situation that I wasn’t expecting. I would have appreciated someone explaining directly to me what was going to happen and what to expect.

She started my colonoscopy before the sedation had been administered. I was awake, feeling and seeing my procedure occur at first. It was my first procedure and I wanted to be comfortable and asleep before things began. Some people might want to tough it out, watch on the screen and just be in twilight - but not me. I wish she had shown some hasn’t rushed, asked me my preference and waited to start my exam.

Dr. Parisian was fine. I did not find a meeting with the PA before my colonoscopy to be particularly useful. I also found the phone staff to be rude and borderline hostile with me in calls preceding the appointment. There's no reason to yell at patients on the phone or talk down to them.

I think Dr Parisian is wonderful and would recommend her to anyone. She has a great bedside manner very caring and compassionate. Best doctor ever!

You don't get a lot of "face time" with your gastro doc, but Dr. Parisian expressed concern about a family history note and recommended an additional type of screening that no one ever had before. I already appreciate that and will definitely follow up!

The procedure went smoothly and when I met Dr Parisian she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time before surgery to explain what was going to happen. However due to COVID my husband could not come in with me so after surgery when I was told my results I didn’t not remember them. My husband never received a call from the provider with results and a chance to ask questions. In fact, we called and spoke with a secretary later in the day - we did receive a call back but from the secretary with a relayed incomplete message that did Not answer the questions we had asked.

Always very giving of her time and a great communicator. Always has been very emphatic.

It was my first colonoscopy. Everything went according to plan I don't know what could have been done any better.

My experience with Dr Parisian has been NIGHT & DAY compared to the other gastro Drs I have seen. I am FINALLY feeling better after coming to GGR and working with Dr Parisian and it has been many years of gastro issues. without any answers. I am so thankful I switched to GGR and Dr P.

I met Dr. Parisian for the first time just before my colonoscopy. She seemed very nice...I liked that she reminded me to breathe through pain while removing a polyp. No follow-up on my diverticulosis diagnosis other than to contact Primary Care Physician if infection occurs. A printout of how to avoid infection rather than waiting until infection occurs would be beneficial, but that's modern medicine. I read my pathology report in mychart: "sigmoid colon polyps x2" one soft tissue fragment measuring 0.6 cm". I read online that under a 1 cm is OK. I'm glad I have a computer.

While care was excellent, I disliked that I went into procedure room more than 60 minutes after the time I was told my procedure was scheduled. No explanation that there would be delay

I think she is probably wonderful but I only met her right before and after my procedure. She said I had a long twisted colon and I would have liked more info on what that means. Also, I could feel quite a bit of pain during the procedure.

Jabbed by the person supposed to be experienced in IV. Was NOT sedated! Should have an anesthesiologist on staff to supervise the nurses. They were nice, but clearly did not care that I was in such discomfort. I have NEVER had a procedure begin before I was in a twilight zone. Doctor heard me wincing at every move, but I was the last patient on Friday afternoon…..Clearly not waiting for me to be sedated properly. I felt everything, heard everything, got back to my room, waited for the blood pressure to be taken , got dressed, & needed no assistance leaving the Bldg. Others wheel chaired out. I was the last in the Bldg. NEVER going where the patient is less important than getting the price over with .

Got appt. quickly ONLY after I called and followed up on my referral. Takes forever to get through on phone. Staff pleasant when got thru on phone.
