No. I will ask to never be seen by her again. She did ZERO research into what we came in for. I had more help and knowledge from my own internet research. That should never be the case. I understand not having an answer for everything but for a doctor to say “I’m not familiar with that medicine so I don’t know what side effects it can have” is insane to me. Look. It. Up. Is something a possibility? Is it not? 2 minutes. She couldn’t give 2 minutes to look into this. I do not have faith that she cares for the outcome of my child.

Not thorough. Did not give my son a proper physical exam. Very little personal interaction with us - never introduced herself or asked us our names or our relationship to my son. She seemed very aloof and seemed like she just wanted to get out of the room as quickly as possible. We are used to a doctor who talks to my son about what’s going on in his life, how he’s feeling, what he’s interested in, and takes him to listen to him. She did none of this.

We were there before 8:30 for oyr 8:30 appointment, and we left at 9:40 and still never saw her. No apology, no reason given. I literally came for a sick visit and was never seen. Incomprehensible to allow appointments to be made and not see the patient AND never check in or apologize.

She grew up in northeast Ohio where she completed her undergraduate degree from Kent State University before earning her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. Dr. Orcutt went on to complete her pediatric residency at Prisma Health Children's Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, where she trained in both primary and hospital-based pediatric care. Her clinical interests include preventative medicine, early childhood development, and managing chronic conditions such as childhood diabetes. Dr. Orcutt is passionate about building strong relationships with families and empowering parents with the knowledge and tools they need to raise healthy children.
She currently lives in Columbia with her husband, their dog and cat, and is excited to be welcoming their first baby. Outside the office, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and DIY home renovations.
