Put mind at ease about no need for surgery. Left slightly unclear about who to contact for followup injection

After waiting an hour past my scheduled appointment time, I felt that I was rather “in the way” and was being rushed through. I spent no more than 4-5 minutes seeing the doctor.

Great to speak with, diagnosed me pretty quickly

Honestly, I felt like cattle just being hurried through and processed, she did not provide guidance regarding the hip issue, she rattled off multiple choices without explaining risks and benefits to the following, rehab, shots, surgery, or a cane. The cane comment made me question if she even cared about getting me pain free and active again. I may be 63 but I have been an athlete my whole life and need a diagnosis and treatment plan that is going to support my numerous hobbies and interests, weight training, biking, golfing, basketball, motorcycling, trail walking, etc. none of which was asked about in our brief time together. I believe some probing on her part would have provided fairly important information in order to move in a direction suited to my specific needs.

I waited over an hour and a half past my appointment time only to be told I needed to see a tumor orthopedic specialist, something that could have been communicated days earlier when the nurse called to tell me nothing was broken or torn. That simple conversation could have saved me the time, pain, and cost of the follow up appointment. The provider briefly reviewed my MRI but didn’t address several important findings, including the excessive fluid buildup around my soft tissue tumor. When she asked me to wiggle my toes, I explained that I could only move my big toe and that trying to move the others caused painful cramping. She just looked confused and reminded me that nothing was broken. I left feeling dismissed and unheard after waiting nearly two hours in pain, only to be told she couldn’t help me. Better communication and a more thorough review of my MRI would have made a big difference.

She doesn't communicate sufficiently. I felt she was in rush. Just canceled my follow-up appointment and needed a second opinion.

I would give a zero if possible. After waiting almost 40 minutes to be seen. I was talked down to and felt as if the care was subpar. Terrible bedside manner.

I don't think she cared about me and well-being, still having issues. Didn't fill out work papers properly.. and listen to me and my concerns. I could go on..
