Assumed I just needed therapy vs a doctor who listened to me. The audacity to tell me I went from a perfectly healthy woman who had better than 20/20 vision, to needing bifocals over night is absurd. To so boldly state she’s sure it was just missed as a child and I always needed glasses. Despite the fact I grew up wealthy, having yearly eye exams, and the fact that I was top of my class for architecture notating that I have the most detailed eyes to see the smallest errors from across the room. I am always open to others perspectives, but she refused to actually hear me. BTW it would have been nice to be told I would need someone to drive me home after being dilated and 3 kids in my car.

Very polite very considered about my problem she listened very well to what I felt. My problem was and she came up with a solution. I will continue to go there and recommend it to friends.

I love this doctor! She is pleasant, she thinks out of the box and helped me find a diagnosis that should have been dx'd several years ago and she was the one to find it. I am so happy with her, I have already recommended her to two of my friends!!

Dr. Vize was great; very welcoming and explained everything. However, I would like to suggest that the rest of the staff does the same. Telling patients what is being done and why is comforting and educational

While at ICO, she gained valuable experience while receiving clinical honors during her diverse externships including caring for veterans at a Veterans Administration hospital, working in private practices that specialized in vision therapy and comprehensive eye health, and focusing on ocular diseases at the highly regarded Omni Eye Services in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Vize has 20 years of experience practicing optometry in her native Illinois, Colorado, and most recently in Arizona. Early in her career, she focused on primary care optometry and later discovered a love of helping patients with a wide range of needs in an OD/MD group private practice. Genuinely caring for her patients, building relationships, and putting patient needs and outcomes first is at the heart of her practice style.
In her free time, Dr. Vize loves to spend time with her husband and two daughters, enjoying all that Arizona has to offer, as well as traveling to new cities, beaches, and exploring National Parks. An avid runner and reader, it isn’t uncommon to catch her training for another a marathon chasing her bucket list to complete a marathon in every state.
