As always, Dr. Sheerin was laser focused on my complex problem. After a lengthy discussion, we agreed to a different medication. Dr. Sheetin is courteous, knowledgeable and professional.

Dr. Sheerin did not appear to be present during the visit. I told her about a surgery that occurred since our last visit and advised that the diagnosis/symptoms were still present. She responded by saying well since the surgery is done everything should be better. I reiterated that the surgery had not solved the issue. Also, she mentioned asthma as a diagnosis and I advised that I was not aware that my son had been formally diagnosed with asthma. She went on to say that he had an inhaler so he had asthma. I explained that he had a single occurrence of exercise induced bronchospasm. She then said he had poor effort on pulmonary function test but we didn’t need to repeat since he had not had any problems. In closing, none of our previous visits were like this. I’m hoping this was a fluke because even though we are busy as medical providers, we must ensure that we are listening.
She was through in her examination to try to help me.
