Moved by her love of children, she served her residency training in pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, from 1988-1991, and while there, she was appointed as a fourth-year chief resident from 1991-1992. She continued on in a private pediatric practice in a suburb of Washington, DC, for three years until she joined what is now known as Newport Family Practice, PC, with her husband, “Dr Al.”
In her spare time Dr. Kathy enjoys being creative, walks in the woods with her husband Al and connecting with their three adult children.
