The intake nurse was fantastic. Questions were brief, she listened to me, and took excellent notes. My experience with Dr. Williams was not great. It was clear she didn't read my chart or any of my patient files (I've been a patient of Dr. Heraty's for years) Most upsettingly, I have never been asked "Do you sleep with men, women, or both" at any women's health appointment. It was incredibly uncomfortable and inappropriate. I have only ever been asked "Are you sexually active? How many partners do you have? What form of contraception do you use?" None of these questions required me to out my sexuality to a complete stranger. I was told I was wrong about the cause of my migraines (when she had not even read my chart). I was very patronizingly told I would need to come off birth control if I wanted to get pregnant (duh?) Overall the visit was tense and uncomfortable and not at all like my past experiences with MCWHC.

Dr. Williams was warm, knowledgeable and caring. She is the new gynecologist for both myself (in my 50s) and my daughter (in her early 20s) and we are very pleased.

Dr. Williams is AMAZING! If you want someone who LISTENS, then you cannot do better than her. I hope she knows how much her "bedside" manner is appreciated.
