She always says something (appropriately) personal, to me a signal that she sees me as more than “the patient in Room 4.” She is clearly well educated in her field and an astute thinker.

Dr. Katelyn Lucas is a Brownsburg native and graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Purdue University. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry. After graduation, she finished her post-doctoral primary care residency with an ocular disease emphasis at the Indiana University School of Optometry Indianapolis Eye Care Center. She earned the designation of Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.
