I recently had surgery to remove the cataracts in my left eye. It was the best experience I have had while undergoing eye surgery. The follow up visit I had today was a very positive experience and again I felt I was in the best care possible. Dr. Katelyn Lucas is a Brownsburg native and graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Purdue University. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry. After graduation, she finished her post-doctoral primary care residency with an ocular disease emphasis at the Indiana University School of Optometry Indianapolis Eye Care Center. She earned the designation of Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.
