Dr. Kate Henson is a graduate of the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She practiced primary care in the Penn State Pediatrics Clinic as well as in Penn State Pediatric Headache and Concussion Clinics for several years before joining us in January 2017. She is married to Dr. Baker Henson, a Catawba County general surgeon; they have two children.

I felt my concerns were heard and my child's symptoms were brushed off even though the urgent care we had previously seen suggested we be seen to rule out anything serious
