Not great communication. I didn’t know what I wa sin for and just had to learn as I went. I didn’t even see the doctor for my first follow up when I was in a vulnerable position. When I asked him about this at my 6 month check up, he responded, “oh, no one told you that I have an assistant?” Nope. No one told me this. The scars left on my foot do not look like a professional completed the surgery. A family member saw the stitches early on and told me it looked like the doctor completed a botched job, or possibly had someone else stitch me up. When questioned about the way the stitched area healed, Dr. Henrikson told me it was due to my body being hyper-pigmented in that area. There was no empathy or any ownership taken. He was more like a robot than a people person. I would not recommend going to him for care or concern.

I felt he was in a rush. Not personable. I get the impression he doesn’t like me. The staff is great. I see multiple docs at OSMS. I would recommend any but Hendrickson not so much. Please keep this review private.
