Dr. Karl Henrikson earned his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts and went on to complete his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. There he enjoyed being team physician for a high school football team. He served as administrative chief and spent a superchief year as an attending. He completed his fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
While Dr. Henrikson can treat most orthopedic conditions, his expertise lies in foot and ankle treatment. He works with his patients to determine the best possible course of treatment and says he finds motivation in seeing patients happy and getting back to their lives.
In his free time, Dr. Henrikson enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors and participating in activities such as hiking, skiing and fishing.
I want to give that message of hope to patients and help them overcome their pain or discomfort. I will always advocate for my patients and provide the best possible treatment plan.

Had an issue with my foot that a previous surgeon pretty much blew off as nothing. Explained what the issue was and how it could be resolved. Decided on surgery to fix it.
Unexpectedly broke my ankle. Dr Henrikson saw me the next day. Very accommodating since I live several miles away. Explained thoroughly what would need to be done. Am grateful he was able get the process started.
