Dr. Karen Schoene has been in private practice in the Buffalo area since 1980. She is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School where she received her medical degree. Dr. Schoene completed her internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and her ophthalmology residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Dr. Schoene served in the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) Program in the United States Air Force Reserve Medical Corps (Rank: Major). She also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
