I felt really disappointed, I felt like she didn't matter about my health problem, she just said what I knew, anything new, poor information provided, she just was supposing about my personal life and arguing with the assistant, she thought that I wasn't understanding I felt really uncomfortable about that, she was just interested on how I was going to pay her service. The other people working there were very nice I don't have any complaints about them.

I do not recommend this provider at all. This was one of the worst healthcare experiences I have ever had. I wasn’t even able to fully address my concerns because I was constantly interrupted before I could finish speaking. It felt like I wasn’t being given the opportunity to explain my symptoms or ask my questions. The provider was rude, dismissive, and showed very little compassion or interest in what I had to say. I did not receive the thorough evaluation I was expecting. I left the appointment feeling unheard, frustrated, and without confidence that my concerns had been taken seriously. Every patient deserves to be listened to with respect, and unfortunately, that was not my experience. I requested not be seen by this provider ever again for future appointments. Very disappointed.

Where do I even begin?! This was the worst experience I have ever had with a nurse practitioner. Karen left me on the exam table waiting one full hour for my appointment. I heard her discussing with another person about a patient outside of my exam room for the entire hour that I was waiting. Karen finally entered the room without knocking and introducing herself and proceeded to do an exam, but did not explain to me what type of exam she was about to perform. She did not seem to be paying attention to what she was doing. Seemed disengaged the whole 10 minutes of my exam. She did not seem to care about my well-being. She didn’t talk to me at all about the pregnancy. She was asking me about my family member. Karen and her assistant made the situation very awkward and I felt uneasy the entire time I was in there. I will not go back to this office for medical care.

Dr. Lapersade is pleasant, friendly, and efficient.
I plan on keeping Dr Lapersade as my Ob/Gen.
For those who left unhappy reviews about a long wait time, remember that Drs never know what's awaiting them in the exam room prior to your appointment.
If a woman has a complex issue, know that she is being cared for. When it's our turn to need extra time in the exam room we will be the reason other women have to wait.
Allow extra time for your appointment just in case.
