While serving and treating the diverse population of Galveston and Houston he is proud to have learned from the best at the University of Texas Medical Branch hospitals, Houston Methodist hospitals, and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
He completed his education and residency with numerous awards, grants, and honors for clinical excellence, academic excellence, community service, leadership, teaching, and research. He has over 20 published articles, book chapters, and national presentations on allergy, sinus disease, reconstructive surgery, and innovation in ENT surgery and education. He is most proud of the President’s Community Service award he earned for establishing free Head and Neck Surgical Care for the uninsured and underserved of Galveston and Brazoria counties at St Vincent’s Clinic.
He completed Fellowship in Neurorhinology and Skull Base Surgery at Augusta University. While in Augusta he served as a clinical instructor and staff surgeon at the VA hospital serving our nation’s veterans. He has also completed advanced training in sleep surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
His service has continued nationally at the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery serving in committees and reviewing literature submissions for publication in the highest impact journal in ENT– Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Journal.
Dr. Haroun is passionate about empathetic care with minimally invasive and innovative treatments with the latest technologies. He is excited to bring his unique skillset to clinics in Southlake and Flower Mound, serving patients in the mid-cities and DFW area.
