Best Dr ever. She’s been all 3 of my life Dr since birth. They are now 22,19&18. Only Dr I trust my kids with. Don’t know what I’m going to do when they can no longer be seen there.

Forces parents to get vaccines even you give a good explanation of why not getting them and called my child fat when he is perfect for his height

Dr. Kanaka Durga Alahari, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician with over two decades of experience dedicated to the health and well-being of children. She earned her medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College, NTR Health University, and completed her residency in Primary Care Pediatrics at Brookdale University Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, in 2000.
Dr. Alahari has been practicing pediatrics in North Carolina since completing her training. She founded Excel Pediatrics, serving families in Dunn and Fuquay Varina, NC. In 2016, she merged her practice with KidzCare Pediatrics to expand access and provide more comprehensive care to children across the region.
Her clinical interests include growth and development, asthma, ADHD, and obesity management. She is passionate about guiding children toward healthy, happy lives and values long-term relationships with the families she serves.
After spending six years practicing in Louisiana, Dr. Alahari returned to North Carolina and rejoined KidzCare Pediatrics in September 2024, bringing her deep experience and joyful commitment to pediatric care back to the community she calls home.
