Kai Rou Tey, M.D.

Dr. Kai Rou Tey, M.D. is a board-certified transplant hepatologist at Arizona Liver Health and triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology. She provides comprehensive care for patients with complex liver disease, including those undergoing liver transplantation. She earned her M.B.B.S. from the International Medical University in Malaysia, completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Arizona South Campus, and her Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology fellowships at Loyola University Medical Center.

She has received several honors, including the AASLD Emerging Liver Scholar Resident Award, the Academic Achievement Award from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and the Young Achiever Award from the American College of Physicians.

A dedicated clinician-educator and researcher, she has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and case reports across hepatology, gastroenterology, and internal medicine, with work appearing in journals such as the American Journal of Medicine, BMJ Case Reports, and Clinical Liver Disease.
