Dr. Nahikian is an exceptional doctor. He explained every step of the process in thorough detail, including what to expect before, during, and after surgery. Dr Nahikian was patient kind and supportive. He explained important parts of the surgery and also was able to provide me the support I needed with my primary and specialty care doctors. He was always ready for questions and encouragement and explained important parts of the surgery, during the procedure. I felt so much better after knowing and engaging in him with open communication.

Prior to joining Northern Arizona Orthopaedics, Dr. Nahikian completed a Hand Surgery Fellowship at the University of Minnesota and received additional training in microvascular surgery at the Mayo Clinic Microvascular Surgery Training Center. He completed his internship and residency program at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Nahikian earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree and a Master of Science Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, along with a Master of Science in Public Health from Dartmouth College.
Throughout his education, Dr. Nahikian engaged in various medical research roles and demonstrated a commitment to community service through volunteerism and tutoring, including providing French medical translation services at a free health clinic.
