The doctor was incredibly kind and had excellent bedside manners. He took the time to clearly explain everything we needed to know making sure we felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire visit. It’s rare to come across someone so compassionate and attentive truly an all-around great person I only wish more Doctors were like him.

I’m incredibly grateful to have had Dr. Nahikian as my orthopedic surgeon. I’ve undergone multiple procedures with him, and each one has had outstanding results. I was misdiagnosed at Bone and joint explaining to me there was nothing wrong. I I came to doctor Nahikian 6 months later still in pain He did a simple test diagnosed it perfectly, had me get an MRI which verified it was exactly what he thought it was (3/4 of my ligament in my finger was torn). He did an amazing surgery, fixed it, and was incredibly empathetic and kind the whole way through the process. He truly is the best doctor I have ever encountered!

I just had a carpal tunnel release surgery by Dr. Nahikian and it went amazing!. The whole experience went smoothly from pre op to post op. All the nurses were friendly and kind and Dr. Nahikian was always explaining everything as he went. I had my other wrist done there last year and that too was a great experience. I never hesitated when it was time to do this surgery. A great team all the way around.

Prior to joining Northern Arizona Orthopaedics, Dr. Nahikian completed a Hand Surgery Fellowship at the University of Minnesota and received additional training in microvascular surgery at the Mayo Clinic Microvascular Surgery Training Center. He completed his internship and residency program at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Nahikian earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree and a Master of Science Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, along with a Master of Science in Public Health from Dartmouth College.
Throughout his education, Dr. Nahikian engaged in various medical research roles and demonstrated a commitment to community service through volunteerism and tutoring, including providing French medical translation services at a free health clinic.
