Dr. Justin Wong is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the care of the upper extremity, including arthritis of the shoulder, elbow, and hand, tendon disorders and ruptures, shoulder and elbow instability, and fractures of the shoulder, elbow, and hand. He promotes a shared decisionmaking process with patients, educating them about their nonoperative treatment options and, if necessary, thoroughly explaining surgical procedures and rehabilitation. Dr. Wong received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/Rothman Institute. He has dual fellowship training in hand surgery as well as shoulder and elbow surgery, having trained at both The Philadelphia Hand Center and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/Rothman Institute. Dr. Wong is passionate about making a lasting impact on his patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Wong is an excellent surgeon in my experience. He communicates well about both the procedure and the recovery process so you are fully informed on what to expect. After the surgery he stays personally involved in monitoring the recovery progress and provides feedback and suggestions to maximize the benefits of post-surgical recovery. Would highly recommend him.
