He promotes a shared decisionmaking process with patients, educating them about their nonoperative treatment options and, if necessary, thoroughly explaining surgical procedures and rehabilitation. Dr. Wong received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/Rothman Institute. He has dual fellowship training in hand surgery as well as shoulder and elbow surgery, having trained at both The Philadelphia Hand Center and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/Rothman Institute. Dr. Wong is passionate about making a lasting impact on his patients’ quality of life.

Dr Wong was very understanding and easy to work with. The appointment went quickly and smoothly.
Very knowledgeable. Saw him first time today. Not a people person. Told me medically everything about my injury. He started to walk out door until I said I had questions. He turned around and answered them but did not appear happy about it. His first comment to me after introductions was, “you have a bad break.”
