Dr. Justin Strickland was raised in a rural town in southern Ohio, he attended an accelerated combined six-year BS/MD program in Akron. In his junior year of medical school he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the highest academic honor obtainable.
Dr. Strickland did his residency at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he received the Joseph Janes award-recognition by his peers for his compassion toward his patients and skills as a surgeon. He completed his education with an advanced year of training in sports medicine under the tutelage of Dr. Frank Noyes, one of the fathers of sports medicine. Dr. Strickland also has a certificate of advanced qualification in sports medicine and specializes in shoulder, knee and elbow surgery. He has significant experience with shoulder replacement surgery including reverse shoulder arthroplasty. He also performs some minor foot/ankle and hand surgery.
Dr. Strickland is an avid sports fan, he especially loves the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoys running and exercising. He also enjoys golf and tennis. Despite his work and outside interests, Dr. Strickland's family is his number one priority. He and his wife, Jeanna, have three young children. He is a "dad" above all else.

This is the kindest man you will ever know. He still has that professional old time doctor. He goes through everything gies you your options and lets you decided your oath of care. I had surgery on Thursday, came home tired from all the pre stuff, my phone rings in the evening, it is Dr. Strickfland asking how I was. Asked if I picked up my pain meds and if I have done the stretching oj my arm yet. I am glad I got to be his patient. WONDERFUL doctor!
Justin is the best orthopedic dr i have ever used. Not to mention he is just a kind person

The doc is always so nice I even get a hug probably cuz he's done a lot of my surgery lol. Always recommends other things to get done before he will consider surgery...I recommend him to a lot of my friends!!!
He has done several Mt families surgery as well as mine, Healways takes the time to make sure you understandwhat's going on as well as addressing any concerns. I will not go anywhere else. Absolutely phenomenal
