Dr. Justin Sausville, M.D., grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., and received his undergraduate education at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, where he majored in Biology and German literature. He then completed medical school and a urology residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Prior to joining BUC in January 2025, he spent 13 years as a general urologist at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. During that time, he earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware, with a focus on strategic leadership. His professional interests include stone disease and clinical quality management. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading, and running, as well as spending time with his wife and two teenage sons.
Dr. Sausville is accepting new patients at both office locations.

He explained things in a professional manner his demeanor was patient that helped me to believe in the procedure
He is a great communicator and takes the time to explain everything in a way that is easy to understand. I never feel rushed, and he makes sure I understand all of my options. He also does a great job preparing you for your urologist appointment by making sure you know what questions to ask and what options to discuss. I really appreciate the time and care he puts into making sure his patients are informed and comfortable.

As always, Dr Sausville is very thorough, and knowledgeable, plus he has a full discussion with me (the patient) about options.
Very personable, gave me good advice, talked about a plan going forward. Gave me written information concerning my kidney stones and what I can do to help avoid them.
