I was uncomfortable with the process through which I have received updates regarding my results from my procedure. Apparently the results were posted in a portal without my knowledge. I didn’t receive a phone call from his office regarding my lack of response for over a month. When I did have a follow up appt, I did not meet w Dr. Marasigan, but with his PA. The information given at that time was inconsistent between the people I spoke with including the PA, another staff member, and the lady who schedules the procedures. Then, when I spoke w Dr. Marasigan prior to the follow up procedure, he stated at least 3 times that he was not at the appt with me and his PA so he was not aware of what was said at that appointment. This is very concerning to me and my intention is to only make appointments with Dr. Marasigan so I can be confident my medical information is fully understood by him. I realize there are 2 different offices…the gastrointestinal doctor’s office and Unio. Bravo, Unio!

Dr. Justin Marasigan, D.O. was raised in the Los Angeles area. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. Dr. Marasigan went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency in the Detroit area and his Gastroenterology specialty training in Erie, Pennsylvania. He applied a variety of experiences from rural offices to large academic centers throughout Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. Prior to joining the team in Ventura County, Dr. Marasigan practiced Gastroenterology for 7 years in Washington State.
