Justin Jacobson, M.D.

Dr. Justin A. Jacobson, M.D. is originally from northern Utah. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency and a Musculoskeletal Research Fellowship at the University of Rochester, NY, the number one NIH-funded orthopaedic research laboratory in the United States. He then completed a Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship at the world renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. His fellowship training focused on surgical and arthroscopic reconstruction of complex shoulder and elbow conditions. Dr. Jacobson has performed extensive research on tendon and bone healing, nerve regeneration, and tissue engineering, as well as clinical research on shoulder and elbow pathology. The results of his research have been presented at national and international symposia, published in peer-reviewed journals, and have garnered national mainstream media attention. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Jacobson specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and elbow, as well as sports medicine and joint replacement.
