Dr. Justin B. Brown is local to the Savannah community, having been born and raised on its beautiful Southside. He achieved his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia and completed medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Brown then went to Virginia Commonwealth University Health System for his General Surgery residency. He continued his training with a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He holds dual Board Certification in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Brown is a member of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of multiple surgical societies, including the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery and the Society for Vascular Surgery. He is the Faculty Advisor for the SVS endorsed Savannah Vascular Interest Group.
Dr. Brown has taken excellent care of me through my appointments and varicose vein ablation procedure. I highly recommend him, his team and the facility where my procedure took place.
Dr. Brown was professional and friendly. He asked questions that allowed me breakdown the situation into more details even though it took up extra time. He wanted to understand the issue from the beginning. He provided a game plan and explained his reasoning. Would recommend Dr. Brown to family and friends.
Very informative and professional. Dr. Brown explains everything where you understand and what to expect. I had Temporal Artery Biopsy. I would recommend him for sure.

Dr. recommend asking patients if they shoot guns as a hobby. I had a port put in on my right side and didn't think about asking if I could still shoot. Since found out it's not recommended. I'm disappointed.
