I have been a local physician for many years in the community and can speak from experience working with numerous specialists on behalf of my patients. I recently was evaluated by Dr. Parks for a fall related hand injury and found him to be highly knowledgeable, professional, empathetic and personable. In addition I noted the efficiency and concern of his scheduling staff in arranged my appointment, a practice quality lacking in many specialist offices these days. I did not feel heard by this Dr. And that was the 1st time I felt this way at this office as I've seen other Dr's and had surgery with another Dr for 3 different body parts. Shame I couldn't see that Dr for my hand.

Unfortunately, upon my arrival, the pain in my elbow subsided, now it’s a wait-and-see game. If pain comes back, Parke seems to be a pretty good doctor.

My superhero. The first time I met Dr Park, I was a walk in without an appointment, with a broken wrist. He x-rayed and put on a cast and I was out of there in 45 minutes! How long do you think it would take at the hospital? LOL

Dr. Park is a kind and competent physician. My husband actually had gone to him for a broken clavicle and he discovered cancer. He took the time to call our family physician so that he could call my husband. I will never forget his thoughtfulness with the way he handled it.

Dr. Park helped assure me that everything was going well and I was on track to make a full recovery. Sometimes the hardest part about surgery is the mental recovery. Met him for the first time yesterday. had a quick x-ray done of my thumb and then a cortisone shot for trigger thumb. He was very nice and explained my injury and means to correct it.

excellent listening skills...friendly and certainly knows his area

This was my first visit with Dr. Park. However, when he came in to see me, he was apathetic. I was told to get an MRI, he'll see me in a month. In the meantime be in touch with your pain, take pictures, write on your arm the direction of the pain and how often it occurs to better clarify. It was belittling I came back to Bucks County Ortho due to my wonderful experience with Dr. Boylan... I have never been treated like this and unsure now what I will do.

I’m taking the time to write this review because I hope he does not treat elderly patients as he treated me. He claimed I told him what to do, which is false. I asked him his opinion on whether to drain and inject my elbow or just inject. He equivocated on what he thought was best by answering, “draining does not get very much and I don’t normally do it.” That is not a clear answer. Finally, I ask, “what do you think is best?” He states, “it’s up to you.” I respond, “let’s drain and inject. That seems like the best option.” He comes back in and asks what I’m looking up on my phone. I explain that I like to read a Wikipedia or something just so I know what’s happening. He asks me if I’d appreciate a client checking my work on legal zoom. No, I am not infallible and I prefer informed clients. He then tries to scare me with the sizes of the needles into not draining. I have never had a medical professional attempt to intimidate me into a treatment decision. There’s more.

Dr. Park was thorough and pleasant. He explained the procedure well and they got me an appointment much faster than I thought it would be.

I was very disappointed with him the second time around when I had to come back after I got my mri done. When I came to him the first time I came with a sprained thumb on one hand and an injury from Sept on my other wrist that has been an issue! When I came back after doing an mri on my wrist only he got the story mixed up multiple times saying I am still having issues since I injured it since September again (which I didn’t) and other things. Then he suggested I go to physical therapy for my wrist and he typed up a referral for it and when I got home I looked at the paper and it says for my thumb and nothing about my wrist. The first time I was there was the only time we discussed my thumb and we just talked about my wrist then he leaves to get the referral and it says thumb. VERY disappointed!!

Bring more professional opinion based on patient experience to help diagnose and recommend treatment, long-term plan rather than just what can and cannot be read from an xray.

Gave me a hard time over getting Physical therapy and rescheduling an appointment without finding out that I had been in the hospital with a heart attack. I feel rushed in and out. My finger was crushed and was in the same condition since day one. I feel he dragged his feet and wasted a month of time. Now makes it look like it's my fault. I am about to go find another medical office to get a better, clearer treatement plan.

Dr. Park is unable to process more than simple problems. He appears to have no critical thinking skills beyond an obvious break on an xray. If your problem isn't straightforward, avoid this dr.

I choose to see Dr. Park after seeing all his 5 star ratings on healthgrades. I was not disappointed! I was in and out of his office in 30 minutes and didn’t feel rushed at all. Check-in at the reception desk was quick and easy, I was in the waiting room less than 5 minutes and the same for Dr. Park to come into the room. It was obvious that in those couple of minutes he had looked at the x-rays that had been taken. He was friendly, cheerful, listened to me, and knew exactly what my problem was. He gave me a cortisone shot and said if it still bothers me in 4 weeks to come back for a second injection. All of that in 30 minutes! I will see Dr. Park again for any hand problems that I have. A true gem of a doctor!

Certainly beautiful office and friendly staff, but Dr. Park is indifferent that as a patient I would expect some level of bedside manner. I received the worst experience with a doctor. After he placed my cast I was told to return in six weeks..nothing about my injury, information, or advice. I left feeling that as a female patient I was treated rudely and with no concern to my well being.
