Julio Gutierrez, DPM

Dr. Julio Gutierrez, D.P.M., is a podiatric physician and surgeon who joined Upperline Health in 2023. He completed his surgical residency at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami, where he was trained in both the medical and surgical management of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. As part of his training, he had the opportunity to work directly with collegiate and professional athletes, including members of the Miami Heat, Inter Miami CF, Barry University, and the University of Miami.

Dr. Gutierrez now specializes in minimally invasive procedures, sports medicine injuries, and value-based care focused on long-term mobility and function. He uses evidence-based treatments tailored to each patient to reduce pain and help people return to the activities they love. He serves as faculty for the podiatric surgical residency program at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital and is a member of the International Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Society.

Originally from Miami, Dr. Gutierrez now lives in the Tampa Bay area with his wife and two young children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring all that the area has to offer. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is known for his compassionate, personalized approach to care.
