Dr. Julie M. Stewart, M.D., joined us in February 2019. Dr. Julie received her bachelors at Westmont College in Santa Barbara and her doctorate at the University of Washington School of Medicine through the WWAMI program. She is a Board Certified Family Physician and completed her residency at the Alaska Family Medicine Residency. Prior to working in Anchorage she practiced full spectrum family medicine with obstetrics in Kodiak, Alaska. She has a special interest in Pediatrics and Women’s Health.

I really appreciate Dr. Stewart and the services that she provided me on an emergency basis. However, I’m formerly a patient of Dr. Nolte, in which Dr. Stewart has taken the lead of providing the best care of her patients… therefore I feel I’m in good hands and thank you.

It was my first visit with Dr Stewart, she was friendly, straight forward and communicated my test results clearly and in a way I could understand as a regular person. She took her time and I appreciated her style!

Dr. Stewart is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, up to date, and focused on preventive medicine. She always takes the time to listen, answer questions, and develop the best plan of care. I never feel rushed and always leave feeling informed and confident. Highly recommend!
