Dr. Nam is an amazing doctor.
I had been experiencing double vision since my motorcycle accident. Her team was very thorough with the examinations, and the process of scheduling my surgery at the hospital was very smooth.
Dr. Nam explained the procedure step by step and reassured me about what to expect. My eyes were working normally right after the surgery, and within about three weeks, they looked normal as well.
It has now been three months since the surgery, and my eyes are working perfectly. I’m extremely grateful for Dr. Nam’s expertise and for the kindness and care shown by her entire team.
I highly recommend Dr. Nam!

The best doctor I have ever encountered. my daughter has been a patient since she was two weeks old and is now turning two years old. Dr Nam has been gentle, kind and caring at each visit. She takes the time to listen and answer every question I have. I am so grateful that we found such an amazing doctor to get us through this difficult process

Excellent experience. Staff was helpful and respectful and Dr. Nan was amazing. She took her time and listened to my concerns. She answered all questions fully and explained my condition coolest fully understanding the diagnosis.

As always, Dr. Nam provided a very thorough exam as well as her extremely thoughtful and precise ways to address my eye problem. I also deeply appreciate Dr. Nam sharing her thoughts and steps during her exam that gave me information and great reassurance. I highly trust and recommend Dr. Nam!!!!!
Dr. Julie Nam is a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon with a private practice in Manhattan.
After graduating from the NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Nam completed her ophthalmology residency and pediatric ophthalmology & strabismus surgery fellowship at New York University Medical Center and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. Dr. Nam had been selected and served as a pediatric eye surgeon for the non-profit sight saving team of ORBIS.
Dr. Nam performs the majority of her pediatric eye surgery at the NYU Medical Center. In addition to NYU, Dr. Nam is an attending surgeon at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Nam regularly employs adjustable and non-adjustable sutures for her patients requiring strabismus surgery.
