Dr Barré specializes in the non-operative and operative treatment of general orthopedic conditions and injuries. During her time in residency and fellowship, Dr Barré acted as team physician for collegiate basketball teams, high school football teams, and a professional hockey team. She was team physician for Orange Park High School football team and organized community-wide free high school physicals in Jacksonville. She served as Chairperson of Orthopedics and has been on the teaching faculty in Orthopedics for Family Practice residents.
A native of Tallahassee, Dr Barré now resides in Sarasota with her husband and two children. Her interests include exercise, golf, cooking, travel, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and beach activities with her family. With her background as a former physical therapist, she realizes the importance of a team relationship with her patients and supports open communication to return them to their normal function.

Lost I hope in doctors very frustrated with all of them so at that point when I was told to take my Band-Aid off my bandage off my arm it was overkill. I’ll deal with the pain.
Always on time and she is interested in how I am doing. Great results with my left shoulder replacement.

I couldn't be happier with her work on my knee replacement. I've had both knees done by Dr Barre and I only wish I had done them 10 years sooner. What a relief. Her skills as a surgeon are excellent! No issues at all.

Amazing office staff and doctor.
Very pleasant Dr. explained everything to me and exactly what she was going to be doing for my surgery (Torn Rotor Cuff) She made me feel very uncomfortable and not to hesitate to ask Questions. I Highly recommend Her!!
Dr Barre was extremely friendly, professional and a good listener to my issues. I’d rather not have to get to know her better but I think that is not in the cards for me medically speaking. My only complaint I was 15 minutes early for my 9am appointment and she finally saw me at 10:15am.
