Meeting Dr Julie Barre was such a delightful experience. I can’t begin to overstate that. I went to the appointment thinking I needed a right knee replacement. She said, “no”, you have a lot of arthritis but let’s start with a cortisone injection and work from there. Alleluia!!
The whole experience was a wonderful surprise!!

Dr Burre has always taken great care of me and never in a rush. The whole staff cares and treats all well. Great cray tech as well. Repaired my shoulder and is amazingly back to better than before.

Dr Barre was great! I’ve been in excruciating agony and she gave me injections and I feel better already. I could barely walk. Shawn who brought me back from the waiting room was so sweet and friendly. I could definitely be friends with her and the same with Brian in the XRay Department. The nice lady who checked me in was also very kind. I had a 10 star treatment not 5 star. I am so glad I found this office! The best!

During her time in residency and fellowship, Dr Barré acted as team physician for collegiate basketball teams, high school football teams, and a professional hockey team. She was team physician for Orange Park High School football team and organized community-wide free high school physicals in Jacksonville. She served as Chairperson of Orthopedics and has been on the teaching faculty in Orthopedics for Family Practice residents.
A native of Tallahassee, Dr Barré now resides in Sarasota with her husband and two children. Her interests include exercise, golf, cooking, travel, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and beach activities with her family. With her background as a former physical therapist, she realizes the importance of a team relationship with her patients and supports open communication to return them to their normal function.
