I accidentally missed my appointment on Thursday, July 9. When I caught my mistake on Friday and called to apologize, Angie, the person who took the call, could not have been any nicer. When I came for the rescheduled appointment on Tuesday, July 14, everyone, without exception, expressed sincere concern for my well being. I have never felt so welcome and so loved at any doctor’s appointment.

Dr. Risch is an excellent doctor. I think she sees her patients as people and she listens to them and answers all questions. I would recommend Dr. Risch to those people that need help in her area of expertise. Also her staff are very pleasant and helpful. Very well pleased at how I was treated by everyone.

Education and Training Dr. Risch earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honor fraternity.
She completed clinical training at Veteran’s Administration Hospitals in Fort Wayne and Marion, Indiana, primarily working with the geriatric population. Additional clinical experience includes Walker Eye Clinic in Indianapolis and Indiana University Eye Clinic.
Dr. Risch is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Indiana Optometric Association, and has served as president of the Whitewater Valley Optometric Society.
