He is a great Doctor! Ihe has a great bedside manner and also just tells straight out whats going on and choices of how to fix the problem without being pushy about medication or surgery.

Dr. Garbarino is the consumate professional. He is knowledgeable and easy to understand as well as attentive. I don't feel rushed during my visits. He is helping me to get better. Dr. Garbarino helps patients of all ages enjoy an active lifestyle by treating a wide range of non-operative orthopedic problems. He is board certified in emergency medicine and sports medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and American College of Emergency Physicians.
He previously served as medical director of Carolina West Sports Medicine in Sylva, NC, where he coordinated care of school and college athletes. This often involved treating concussions and non-operative musculoskeletal injuries. In addition to being the team physician for Western Carolina University, he also gave class lectures at the Western Carolina University Athletic Training Education Program. He was named its director in 2012.
When he’s not participating in triathlons, Dr. Garbarino enjoys golfing, cooking BBQ ribs and spending time with his wife and 2 children.
