The doctor was easy to talk to. He didnt seem rushed. He encourages you to ask questions to put you at ease. That I really appreciated.

I always have good appts. With Dr. Romero… they needed to work on better time management but this time I was especially impressed I was out of office in 45 mins. Which I appreciate..

Did not take the time to explain current state of my "lattice" in back of eye. Would have been nice to hear something like "looks OK", or normal, etc. He just said come back in a year. I went at suggestion of Dr. Kalili to estabelish a baseline record.

I would advise others to jot down any questions or concerns beforehand, as Dr. Romero is excellent at addressing them. Overall, I can't recommend this office and Dr. Juan Romero enough. Dr Romero is thorough and kind. The only HUGE COMPLAINT IS THE WAIT TIME! When you overbook patients it is not fair! This is the office manager’s responsibility to make sure that things are moving along. When I hear staff standing around gossiping it is very upsetting when you are waiting hours to see the physician. Again - Dr. Romero is great but I would warn patients to plan on being there a very, very long time. It is especially unfair when you have to pay for transportation and aid to take you there = $$$$$. Which for a senior citizen on a fixed income is down right disgusting.

I felt ‘fast-tracked’ into surgery. I was not adequately advised of the risks, including that the need for cataract surgery would be hastened by surgery for the macular pucker. Nor was I advised of the more conservative criteria for macular pucker surgery: vision of 20/60 or worse, and compromised surgery for driving.

Once someone is overworked, anyone can loose proper work procedure. I am with him since 2020 for right eye retina detachment checking and its progress. Meantime I have floater issue came on left eye. I am seeing him for my both eyes for different purposes. He already forgot to check the progress in the left eye. I am not happy with this type of negligence.

I have been seeing the Doctor for the last three years for treatment of my diabetic retinapathy and have always had a positive experience. The staff are all friendly and professional.

I saw Dr Romaro right after my fall . My face was extremely bruised. The staff was extremely concerned re my condition. However Dr Romaro didn’t even question the condition of an 80 yr old patient with such an injury. Having worked in the medical field myself, I find this very callus for a doctor.
