The check-in and checkout was smooth and efficient. The radiologist was terrific, too. Dr. Long exceeded my expectations: warm, friendly, great listener, and answered every question.
I left with a solid plan and relieved that I choose LOG.

She explained to me the results from my MRI, the fact that I have arthritis and the best short term course of action would be a cortisone shot. I received the shot, and am happy to report that my pain and mobility have already improved. I trust her knowledge and experience!

Dr. Joy Long is a native of Lancaster County and a graduate of Conestoga Valley High School. She received her M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. After graduating from her residency in orthopedic surgery at the George Washington University in Washington, DC, she completed a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the University of Michigan.
A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Long is a candidate member of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. She is also a member of the Ruth Jackson Society for women in orthopedics.
Dr. Long has a special interest in arthroscopic knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle surgery as well as reconstructive shoulder and knee surgery.
