Dismissed my problems immediately upon entering the room as all age related wear & tear before even asking my story. Didn’t want to hear from me that I had a previously well functioning non painful knee before developing definitive symptoms of a torn lateral meniscus that was ignored for a year and 9 months by other doctors before I was even given an MRi. Of course, walking on an unstable knee for almost 2 years trying not to fall will quickly develop into arthritis. Warning-if you are over 65 - any orthopedic group will tell you have an old knee. No further investigation beyond an X-ray unless you are young or are an athlete. Nothing new offered here - just PT &/or steroid injection for “old knees”. An MRI done 2 years ago would have looked a lot different. I mught be pain free and walking independently as well.

Really took her time and explained all options. Was totally fine with my daughter being on FaceTime and also asking Dr Long questions.
