I have an issue with the amount of time between the administration of the pain drug and the procedure. I have had issues with lidocaine in the past and the amount of time it takes for me to experience a desired effect. Have also been told I am a slow metabolizer of some drugs. From the experience of the procedure I was completely knocked out the entire rest of the. day and missed an event later in the day. I should have cancelled, but thought I would be OK. I had not noticed this experience after the first time I went through the procedure. This time I was pretty normal by noon the next day. Lidocaine for me does work, but it takes time. Maybe there is something else I could be given.

Dr. Ring is a great listener and communicator. He has a pleasant bedside manner and genuinely wants to help his patients. He recommended Axonics for me, and it has restored my life. Highly recommend Dr. Ring!

As always, Dr. Ring is extremely professional, cordial, and polite. You can tell that patient care is his top priority—it’s second nature to him. He consistently provides medical feedback in a way that’s easy for me to understand, and I never feel rushed during my visits. A truly great doctor.
