Friendly , talked me about my hand and how he could treat it. Also talked about my Caramel tunnel on both my right and left hand. Explained in language I could understand. I liked him very much.

I had surgery at a different institution and it been a month and it was not healing so I got a second opinion I was fortunate enough to get Dr. Meaike. He examined my figure and he referred me to occupational therapy so we could clean it up because it was not healing like it should and it had been a month already he gave me all my options and so we decided to do occupational therapy first before anything else he’s very kind understanding and professional thank you

Before joining Orthopedic Institute in 2024, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN followed by an additional year of upper extremity specialty training at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis, IN including Microsurgical certification.
His patient-first approach drives him to understand each individual’s best path forward. He is grateful to join Orthopedic Institute because of the experience of the team, the culture of the organization, and the values he shares – all of which allow for exceptional patient care.
During his free time, Dr. Meaike and his wife enjoy staying active with their two young children. They especially enjoy the outdoors, running and hiking.
