Even though Dr.Goethals couldn't help me, he explained why. It was because of my particular situation and history - not his fault. He was very empathetic and professional.

Dr Goethals makes himself available to me at any time I need to reach out I realise that not all processes/treatments will go well and I am really disappointed that I fall into that category. I'm bummed but must go where other possibilities are.

I was referred to Dr. Goethals, by another surgeon in the office, for a second opinion. After discussing my situation and medical history, and an exam, we agreed to a course of action. He was attentive, open to hearing my thoughts and very professional!
