Dr. Fullmer was born and raised in Southeastern Idaho. After graduating from Madison High School, He served a two year mission in Madrid, Spain for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After returning from his mission, he graduated from BYU. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Utah Medical School. After medical school, he completed his internship at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane Washington. Dr. Fullmer completed his residency at the Dean Mcgee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. The Dean McGee Eye Institute has been recognized as one of the top ophthalmology training programs in the country due to the expertise of the supervising surgeons and physicians, the extremely high volume of surgery performed during residency, and the quality of education and research. Dr. Fullmer is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with expertise in treating complex cataracts, pediatric eye diseases, eyelid surgeries and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Fullmer currently lives in the Rexburg area with his wife and 6 children.
I had an issue where in two months my eyes worsened to where I couldn’t see very good at all. He saw me again with no charge and on the prescription he wrote doctor error and didn’t charge me for the prescription either! He was so apologetic and cared so much about me and getting things squared away! I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know that needs an eye doctor! He is truly the best! Thank you Doctor Fullmer!

Dr Fullmer is kind and he listens. He fully answers questions and never rushes. I drive over 3 hours to see him.
