It was my first experience at an orthopedic and thanks to his front desk Jaime (I hope I got her name correct- blonde lady front desk) who completely took ownership of a “scheduling mistake someone else did and fixed it.
She was empathetic to my pain and bad experience w scheduling, talked to the Doctor who immediately agreed to squeeze me in!
It is Doctors and staff members like this who make you feel better even before the consultation, thank you so much!

Seemed genuinely concerned with me and my issues. Went over my X-rays and pointed out the problems, all while explaining what was causing my pain and how it could be corrected. Took the time to answer any questions I had. He made me feel valued as a patient.

He then completed a Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microsurgery Fellowship with the Orthopedics Department at Baylor University in Houston, TX.
Dr. Linnell cares for all conditions from the elbow to the hand and his special interests include fracture care, arthritis of the hand and wrist, tendon and ligament injuries, diseases/injuries of the peripheral nervous system, soft tissue repair, and reconstruction of the extremities, Dupuytren’s disease, as well as soft tissue tumors. He also brings a focus on wound reconstruction in all parts of the body.
He is a member of numerous organizations including the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Mid-Central States Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Linnell cares for patients of all ages and enjoys treating the pediatric population. Uniquely in the specialty of hand surgery, the patient plays a vital role in their recovery and overall outcome. This aspect is why Dr. Linnell takes particular care with informing the patient and providing access to up-to-date research and therapy options. Working together with other specialists, he will provide you with an integrated approach to relieving pain and improving function.
In his spare time, Dr. Linnell enjoys spending time with his wife and two wonderful boys. The family enjoys the Florida baseball experience. Taking care of his own health is important, and he enjoys the competition of marathon running.
