He then completed a Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microsurgery Fellowship with the Orthopedics Department at Baylor University in Houston, TX.
Dr. Linnell cares for all conditions from the elbow to the hand and his special interests include fracture care, arthritis of the hand and wrist, tendon and ligament injuries, diseases/injuries of the peripheral nervous system, soft tissue repair, and reconstruction of the extremities, Dupuytren’s disease, as well as soft tissue tumors. He also brings a focus on wound reconstruction in all parts of the body.
He is a member of numerous organizations including the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Mid-Central States Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Linnell cares for patients of all ages and enjoys treating the pediatric population. Uniquely in the specialty of hand surgery, the patient plays a vital role in their recovery and overall outcome. This aspect is why Dr. Linnell takes particular care with informing the patient and providing access to up-to-date research and therapy options.
