Very professional, very fast and efficient. Didn't keep us waiting for hours and actually respected my time. First visit with the practice and I was in and out in under a half hour including multiple x rays, but he still took the time to listen and do a thorough exam, we need more docs like him.

Professional and a good understanding of my shoulder, also the fact is issues with Fibromyalgia and weakness in legs.

He did a good job and drained my elbow it could happen again or it might not good thing it's not swollen anymore

Based on information provided by the support/intake staff, the actual appointment was very disappointing. My concerns were not addressed very thoroughly. I was under the impression that Dr. Straight was qualified/would provide ultrasound injection/scanning, though an X-ray was performed instead. These images were never even discussed with me during my visit; I do not believe Dr. Straight did more than glance at them, if at all. Contact with the doctor lasted no more than 10 minutes; I had a more productive conversation with the overseeing nurse after my evaluation. Treatment recommendation, while least invasive, offered me no more insight into my issue than I had established on my own; I did leave the appointment with any definitive results or confidence in the diagnostic evaluation.

My first visit for hip pain. Was very brief, didn’t show me my X-ray, just wanted to give me a steroid injection and move on to the next patient. On follow up, same lack of concern, asked if he would recommend physical therapy, but already had one foot out the door saying that would only aggravate my hip more.

Dr Straight with First State Orthopedics has the knowledge and tools, which gave me the best course of action for my hip degeneration. He gets right to the actions that need to take place in accordance to your health insurance while making sure I got treatment and pain relief! This was my first visit with this DR. and at this point,I"m satisfied. I was a patient of DR. Push,who I admired very much but I believe that DR. Straight will be just as good for me.

Dr. Straight is very thorough. He doesn't pull any punches or soften the blow...he is direct and says what he thinks.

He was nice and professional. I do wish he could have slowed down and taken more time to understand my concerns. He was quick to refer which was probably appropriate but I’m not much clearer on how concerned I should be about my symptoms and what that means for any concerns I have about how best to proceed in terms of my activity levels. The referrals are much appreciated but a bit more professional guidance would have been appreciated as well.

He was a good expliner of my hip condition and he prescribed a reasonable path to recovery.

He was straight forward.
