Dr. Slappey served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery for Mercer University School of Medicine and serves the local community as team physician for area high school & college athletic teams.
Dr. Slappey is known as one of a select few orthopaedic surgeons now certified in Orthotripsy treatment using what is known as the Ossatron.

Dr Slappey is a caring and thorough doctor. He has given me a total knee replacement in the past and may end up doing my other knee. He does not operate on anyone until he feels it is the right option for you. He is the best!
