Joseph P. Rectenwald, MD

Joseph P. Rectenwald, MD, is a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper‑extremity surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies at Georgia Institute of Technology and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He trained in orthopedic surgery at the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital and completed a hand surgery fellowship at The Hand Center of San Antonio, part of UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. He holds certification in Orthopaedic Surgery and a subspecialty certificate in Surgery of the Hand. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the Georgia Orthopaedic Society.
